CD DVD Burn problems

I've spent a week trying everything I could to get Vista Business & Media
Player to make a data CD or DVD, read #929461 & removed stuff with resedit &
removed driver, did not help. With a free program called ImgBurn I can make
data CD & DVD's. So it is not a hardware problem. Is there a Hotfix for the
Vista problem? I have not found anything yet.
