| Vista Ultima Home Network difficulties I have just installed Windows Vista Optima 32-bit edition on one of my home computers. The rest are running Windows XP I have turned off the firewall. I have turned on network discovery, file sharing, printer sharing, media sharing. I have put it on the same peer-to-peer network. I have also setup shares with "everyone" permissions for read/write/change. Still, my Vista machine does not "see" any other computers on my network. And no other computers on my network, although they "see" the Vista machine, can connect to any of the shares. Can someone give me a hint of what I have missed? |

| Re: Vista Ultima Home Network difficulties Try disabling the IPv6 protocol. I've read elsewhere on these groups that can be a primary problem.
