| still have problems installing/using IIS I still am not able to install IIS under Ultimate. Under Programs and Features I go to turn on IIS, and it appears to be going properly when I hit the okay button. The progress bar moves very slowly to the right, and pauses for a very long time (maybe 90 seconds?) at the extreme right before I get told that Windows was unable to complete the installation and that not all of the features may have been installed. I get an okay button, and I discover that nothing was installed at all. The same thing happens when I try to turn on almost any Windows feature, such as the .Net 3.0 framework, even by itself. Any idea what's going on? Thanks. Ross |

| Re: still have problems installing/using IIS Hi I have exactly the same problem on my Vista Business on my Sony SZ laptop just bought it in 2 weeks ago. Is there any solutions or work around? I found not only IIS but also encountered same error when I try to turn on other windows features. Is this caused by the new window update hot fixed? Please help!!!!!! "Ross M.
