Look at the subject line of the original message.
Ask yourself why would Microsoft constantly ask for permission?

hmmmmm ?

Most likely because their WGA is flawed and will trigger re-activation if
you just push the power button of your computer the wrong way?

This isn't the posters first problem with Vista's WGA so I don't see it as a
surprise that he would turn to using a crack. Matter of fact I wouldn't be
surprised to see a lot more people do it.

Re: crack for vista

Hello,

I seem to recall durring the beta that a certain disk driver caused
Windows to want to reactivate all the time.

You might see if any updated drivers are available for your computer
from your computer manufacturer's website and Windows Update and see
if that helps.

I saw nothing to indicate that DRM is/was the issue.

Re: crack for vista

Hi iqon,

There is a known issue with driver updates that can cause a need for
reactivation. I don't know of any fixes to this yet, and personally have
disabled driver updates to keep this from happening on my systems.

Re: crack for vista

You may want to reread the threads more fully before making any further
erroneous assumptions. I was correcting someone that accused him of piracy,
not accusing him. In fact, I think you'd find it tough to find any response
by me that accuses anyone of using pirated software. I could care less about
it, I'm more concerned with helping resolve issues than with making
accusations.

Rick,

I have never seen you accuse anyone of piracy. You are helpful and a
positive contributor to these forums, and it is appreciated.

Take care,
