| Intel duel core question with Vista 2nd core not showing being used Help? Hi all Even though Duel core cpu is set in my bios and is listed under device manager within Vista. Yet when I check the performance manager, only one cpu is bening used. i.e the graph in performance manager, only one cpu is shown. Is there anywhere else in Vista I can check or a setting to change it? One quick way to verify that a Multiprocessor HAL ( Hardware Abstraction Layer ) is being used is to check the Processor category in Device Manager. You should see two/independent entries for a Dual-Core CPU.
