Unable to open saved documents

I have recently upgraded my xp pro to vista ultimate and had all my documents
saved to the server (SBS2003) now when i joined my vista pc to the domain
everything worked fine (emails, mapped drives) but when i try to copy a
document that i created to my desktop or try to open it i get an "access
denied" error message.

Does anyone know what could be causing this or how do i fix it>>
