Problems after installing update

I have just upgraded to Vista, and I am getting daily updates. The last lot
is causing a problem in IE. I try to start it up and it does start. As soon
as my homepage is found it just closes down. At the moment I am using system
restore to get back to the last working point.
These are the 6 listed as imprtant updates. any ideas please?

Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 in Windows Vista (KB931768)
Security Update for Windows Vista (KB925902)
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - May 2007 (KB890830)
Security Update for Windows Vista (KB930178)
Update for Windows Media Format 11 SDK for Windows Vista (KB929399)
Update for Windows Vista (KB930857)

Guess one option would be to uninstall each update one at a time and then
see which one is causing the problem..!
The CONTROL PANAL x PROGRAMS AND FEATURES (add/remove) doesn't list the
Windows updates so you need another uninstaller to get rid of
them.................... "regedit" is as good as any and can be downloaded
from:

Once you isolate the offending update go into the WINDOWS UPDATE settings
and uncheck the problem one to avoid it being downloaded all the time with
newer updates.

No you don't.
Open Windows Update.
Under "See Also" in the left pane bottom, click Installed Updates.
Uninstall whatever you want from there.

RE: Problems after installing update

It was KB 931768, an IE7 upgrade that was my problem.
