I really need some help with Vista business edition Screensaver. I have
searched the Internet for anything I could find that would help me to repair
the screensaver. Nothing has worked for me. I am now using a wired keyboard
and mouse and have uninstalled the software for both of them.
It seems to me that there is something in the registry that is not correct
and causing the screensaver to not come on. It does work in the preview
pane. I can make it manually come on with a shortcut that I have put on my
desktop. It will also go to sleep and activate awake.
I have the latest Video drivers installed also have the Microsoft - Other
Hardware - HID Non-User Input Data Filter a Microsoft Other Hardware
software update released in January, 2007 installed.
Can anyone help me with this problem??

Have the same problem. New HP notebook with Vista premium. All updates
installed. How is it that Microsoft is not responding. They created the
problem they should advise us how to fix it.

It seems that these are only isolated cases, so they are not responding to
it. I have it set to manual for now until something good happens.
