| System notification icons & pointer settings won't stay put! I have Vista Ultimate and note the following issues. Is anyone able to suggest a fix?: 1. The notification icons (volume, network, power) intermittently disappear and are greyed out in the taskbar properties. This was an issue in XP and really thought this 'new' OS would resolve it. 2. Automatically hide mouse pointer when typing also never worked in XP, and continues not to work in Vista. Any other intellipoint drivers or something I can try? 3rd party utils are either charged for or don't work in Vista. This is supposed to work in the OS I paid for. 3. Automatically move pointer to dialog boxes also keeps unticking itself after every reboot. Hope someone is able to shed some light. -- Thanks, CJSnet Recommended: * http://search.superhighstreet.com - Finds anything or they pay! * http://www.superhighstreet.com & http://www.oxfordstreet.com - Beat the crowds with Virtual Streetscapes [remove 'teeth' to e-mail me] |
