| Re: AOL 9.0 does not work well with Vista AO-HELL doesn't work well with any operating system. Why do you need to run AO-HELL? Everything you need to do, you can access through your OS, E-Mail you can use Outlook Express or Windows Mail that comes with Vista. AO-HELL is just a layer on top of the Operating system. Get rid of it if you can. IT causes nothing but trouble. Unfortunately, the solution to your problem is to remove AOL and that can only truly be done by reformatting your hard disk and reinstalling Vista or, better yet, XP or Linux. Alias |

| RE: AOL 9.0 does not work well with Vista Bob: Don't worry about all the "experts" opinions here. :) Are you using version 9.0VR (which is Vista compatible)? My mom and father-in-law use 9.0 Security Edition with no issues (unless they were automatically upgraded to 9.0VR and don't know it). To be honest, I doubt if it is the version of AOL. Can you be more descriptive in the error? It sounds like IE is asking for permission to run an add-on, but I could be wrong... | Re: AOL 9.0 does not work well with Vista So runnint AO-HELL is like driving a Corvette with a top speed of 45. Useless. Wake up, smell the roses, dump AO-HELL, like a cheap whore and be happy with normal computing. Anybody who uses AO-HELL is running crippled, like a shell to protect you from the benefits of the Operating System and ramming ad's down your throat. I have helped so many people who had problems with AO-HELL and once they got rid of it, they were very happy. Don't listen to PNutts, I think he is NUTTS. | Re: AOL 9.0 does not work well with Vista Why would you something like AO-HELL? It is just a wrapper over the operating system to hinder the user from actually working. AO-HELL constantly bombards you with unnecessary ad's, causes major problems with almost everything that you do and is almost impossible to remove once you figure out it is a pile of crap. <kevpan815@nospam.hotmail.com> wrote in message news:%23IHnKkIoHHA.4872@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl...[color=blue] > Make Sure That You Are Using The VR Edition Of AOL 9.0, Just FYI. > > Kevin John Panzke (A Brand New AOL High Speed Essentials Subscriber) > > P.S. | Re: AOL 9.0 does not work well with Vista Actually the AO-HELL interface reminds me a LOT of the way Vista is designed. Lots of eye candy, limited ability to customize and always asking 'are you sure' to protect you from yourself.
