| Re: Proof-of-concept virus gives insight into OpenOffice.org security failings Who the hell said that? No one in Open Source community you can be sure. I don't think you can say ANY open source software is bullet proof, but does it really have to be? I mean what self respecting hacker goes after open source software? No challenge, the code is right there! duaa. OpenOffice, free, probably buggy, but still free. (Don't forget to donate) Office 2007, $149-$599, probably buggy... crappy new file formats that no one likes. smeg off "Frank" <fb@nospamm.cmm> wrote in message news:eUdOeaYnHHA.1240@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >I thought this open sores stuff was bullet proof? > > http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070522-cross-platform-openoffice-macro-virus-revealed.html > > Guess it isn't. > Frank |

You're the one who chooses to piss on open source calling it "open sores". Nice attitude coming from someone who uses Mozilla, an open source application that the developers were good enough to provide for you and others. Don't you think you should show some respect? I guess a pig like you just doesn't have the ethics required. (nor any principles, since you continue to use open source software, while ****ting on the whole concept)<snort> > It is also a browser, but I only use IE7 for browsing. You would. So? Does this justify your unprincipled bull****? > Oo is an office suite application, you moron. I know what Oo is, and I also know the difference between a "proof-of-concept" virus and one found in the wild. You obviously don't. > (snort, smirk) > Frank Love and Kisses, Doris -- My Microsoft Hero (he loves this company!) ...
