I have installed Irfanview and then I found I made a big mistake.

The thumbnails changed to the little red deveils. I decided to uninstall
Irfanview, then all of the thumbnails are keeping the same. Don't know what
to do.

Any suggestion?

Apparently you allowed IrfanView to be
set as the default image viewer/editor.

You can change the image associations
to a different editor.
