Re-defining the shutdown buttons

Could I redefine the middle button to mean "Logoff", and remove the
rightmost button?

Re: Re-defining the shutdown buttons

Likely not. But you can do this.

Why not just place a shortcut on your desktop for logoff.

Browse to C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe

Right click, go to "send to" | "desktop create shortcut"

After it has been created, rename the shortcut to Logoff User. Then go to
the
shortcut's properties and paste the following:
"C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /l /t 002"
in the target line. This will logoff the computer after 2 seconds.

Thanks. I hope there will be a way to do it later.
