font installation from script or installshield

My company is testing Vista with our software. Under XP, the fonts get
copied to the fonts directory and will appear in Word. The fonts are
copied the same way in Vista but they do not appear in Word. Is there
some command line tool that must be used to install fonts?

FYI, we can't have the user do this as that just doesn't feel right.

Thanks
