I bought an ACER Aspire 1500 about a month ago with Vista Home Premium
already intalled. Now I need to reinstall it because my computer running
really slow and won't let me uninstall programs (virus). The problem is my
laptop didn't come with an installation disk. How come and how can I get back
to my orignal factory settings. I also tried using the ACER recovery system
but it failed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you have no reinstall disks (the Acer should have a utility to let you
create them...once), and the "hidden partition" recovery fails, then I'd
suggest you contact Acer and let them fix it.
