| Program Needs your Permission to Continue Every time I switch on my PC I get this message during the boot-up procedure. It is caused by the updater programme for my Logitech Mouse and Keyboard software. Its a program I want to run. Can SKS tell me what to do to allow the program to load without getting the warning message. OS is V-Ultimate. Tx Rob |

| Re: Program Needs your Permission to Continue Hi, You need Logitech's latest version of the update software, earlier versions are not Vista compliant: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?countryid=19&languageid=1&page=downloads/software&CRID=1810&contentid=6182 -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "RFJ" <rfj1001@ntlworld.com> wrote in message news:%Tb4i.1871$D26.1822@newsfe6-gui.ntli.net... > Every time I switch on my PC I get this message during the boot-up > procedure. | Re: Program Needs your Permission to Continue I tried downloading and installing the latest logitech s/w (vista compliant) but I still get the same message. (It's a new pc so there's no XP legacy stuff - just seems to be vista wanting permission to run this particular program.) Is there a facility (like a firewall) where you can give the OS permission to run the exe file? Once you get drivers that work, why would you consider updating them? |
