Word docs and Vista

I wonder if anyone has any idea what might cause Vista Home Premium to
re-boot when trying to open a Word (Office 2003) document (contains a lot of
inserted jgs etc). No error messages, simply the re-boot screen!

Re: Word docs and Vista

Hi,
The doesn't appear to be nay reference, and whta even more interesting is
that the word docs I was trying to open now seem to open up without
triggering re-boot. I hope it reemains so and many thanks for your help.

Re: Word docs and Vista

So you get an opportunity to try to diagnose such problems in the future,
right-click Computer and select Properties, select Advanced System Settings,
then under the Startup and Recovery options turn off the option to
automatically reboot when there is a system failure.
