Whenever I try to burn to a CD the CD is automatically formated. The CD does
not need to be formatted. How do I stop this formatting?

I have not encountered this myself, but would be interested in what replies
you get.

Check the settings in the CD burning software.
It may be set that way & simply needs to be unchecked.
