| Superflous "Error Messasges" on Vista Before opening items on Desktop etc. I keep gettimg eroneous error messages e.g. "Windows cannot find " https//memberservices ....... /login/"?target-my images. Make sure you typed the name correctly & then try again " I then have to click ok before the wanted file opens. Can I turn these stupid messages off and where do I check & change the spelling as requested. ? This is only a recent occurrence and I'm unable to work out why these messages have just started to appear after changing to Vista 3 months ago.I don't want to use the WindowsUpdates ( Automatic ) ,,,I've tried that. It reinstalled some so called " updated drivers making my cd / dvd units unworkable., trsultimg in having to perform a "restore" In some ways I think there are a lot of improvements needed to be made to Vista |
