| Best birthday reminder with Vista I can never remember birthdays.. So I thought my pc can help.. I've tested Windows Live Mail option, which I see can send an email to remind me.. and I see windows calendar has a reminder feature.. is on of these the best option or is there an even better way.. |

I'm surprsed it doesn't automatically insert the information from Contacts, But I guess that's why we have Outlook. There is a Gadget that uses the Windows Contact information and will remind you of Wedding Anniversaries or Birthdays with a count down up to 30 days out which is adjustable. If you like Gadgets it's pretty cool I downloaded it and tried it just for fun. The down side is it has to be running all the time. [url]http://tinyurl.com/2nr6mc[/url] The pic shown is not how it looks on the sidebar. You can also download tons of freeware and shareware reminder programs, it's just a matter of searching around. You can also use an online E-card site like Hallmark to send you reminders via email..but once again you have to create a contact list on their site. |
