Inspirat Brico Pack 1.1

Vista has not yet been released in many countries like India where I am. But
there is Inspirat Brico Pack 1.1 (some 26 MB) available for downloading. It
gives XP the appearance of Vista. Does any reader of this Newsgroup have
experience or first-hand information on the pluses and minuses of installing
the Inspirat package? Since it is to be installed by the Add/Remove process,
I guess it can be uninstalled whenever the Full Vista is released by
Microsoft in India.

the public

Re: Inspirat Brico Pack 1.1

You have the choice between the Vista Transformation Pack 6 and the Vista
Inspirat Brico Pack.

An article that compares both:

Re: Inspirat Brico Pack 1.1

I think Vista will be released by end of Jan in India.

You can always get hold of RC2 if you want to have a look at the settings.
I've tried a BricoPack from crystalxp sometime ago, but its possible we both
are not talking about the same thing.

Re: Inspirat Brico Pack 1.1

For the same reason that one sees the preview of a movie, even though the
full movie is scheduled to come sooner or later and even though seeing the
preview is just as if saying that the full movie is nothing but the preview
with lot more thrill or romance or suspense.

My question to those who have seen the Inspirat Brico Pack 1.1 working still
remains:
is the installation going to damage or change XP settings in an
irreversible manner and so
would make it difficult to install the full Vista after uninstalling
the Inspirat, whenever the
opportunity arises?.
