Just how many open bugs / issues does Microsoft have with its soft

I often think that Microsoft must be one of the buggiest pieces of software I
use. But I would be willing to admit my assessment if someone would be
willing to provide some statistics on this topic.
-thanks

Re: Just how many open bugs / issues does Microsoft have with its soft

You have now made two posts lambasting MSFT with absolutely no specifics to
support your claims. If your purpose is to be critical of Microsoft, please
go to any Apple or Linux site where you will find lots of company.
Otherwise, post what issues you are having - just maybe someone will provide
you with an answer or two.

Microsoft doesn't have any bugs. You are just don't know how to use
software! Now go back and play with your Xbox and leave us alone

Agreed, he obviously knows it all. Firefox is completely bug and security
free (at least thats what I'm told by the good open source ppl, but the
updates it has says otherwise).

Lets hear it doowopdj, lets hear your specifics.

Re: Just how many open bugs / issues does Microsoft have with its soft

For close to 30 years its been well known that there is only one bug left in
the system, and that the one we are working on now.

The developers mantra!

In answer to the subject line, there are no "bugs" in Microsoft software.
Microsoft likes to call them "anomalies".

Sorry Doris, I need to correct you. MS does not call them anomalies,
their called "Features".

Re: Just how many open bugs / issues does Microsoft have with its soft

And I thought all software had 'undocumented features'.
I've seen it in every OS from HP Basic, Cobol, Fortran, Compiler, UNIX,
Linux, Citrix, DOS, Windows, OS-X...
But, if MS tries to claim a patent on it, I don't think they'll have a
problem...LOL
