| Vista is very difficult to use I hope to attempt to make this comment as civil as possible. In my experience with Microsoft it has not been a very positive one. I do not know where to begin on describing my negative experiences. I will give Microsoft credit for establishing standards to get the computer revolution started, but where they excelled in creativity they severely lack in Quality Assurance. I am sure they tried, but I a majority of the people I have talked to agree that Microsoft is slowly becoming a joke. I suspect if there were alternatives that were widely used, Microsoft would find itself behind the ball. Perfect examples - Firefox - Google. These two softwares are WELL supported and the community that uses them have positive experiences. I dread using Microsoft, but unfortunately they are the "standard". Please, I beg of you. Severely invest in improving your quality. -sign -doowopdj |

You haven't stated which version of Vista you have, did it come pre-installed (from which company), or did you upgrade, clean install or what? You're speaking in generalities and sound slightly like an MS hating troll. So what the real deal? Frank |

| Re: Vista is very difficult to use First of all, I agree with you to an extent. But in many aspects its MS that is ahead of the others. If it weren't for firefox, IE7/8 wouldn't be here/coming today. I also have a problem with WMP11 as a music player. However, I concede to the fact that they have to keep it as simple as they can. Winamp, as good as it is, is quite complex for many users and they get scared using it. I could go on all day, but to simplify what I'm saying, I understand some of the lack in features in order to keep it simple. Linux on its own can't deliver that. |
