I am running RC-1 as a dual boot with XP on seperate physical drives and
will shortly upgrade RC-1 to Home Premium. Since last year I have used
Vista backup to make a weekly backup. As a clean install is the only option
for upgrade from RC-1, I will lose all my Vista files. I would
appreciate an answer to the following question (especially from those
who have done the upgrade from RC-1 to Home Premium).

1. Can I selectively restore files (Documents, Mail, etc) from the backup
disk after the clean install, or is the backup tied to restore
points in RC-1 (which of course will be lost)?
