The great ubuntu experiment...

....is over, at least on my VISTA machine.

I put it on its own hard drive and messed around with it for a week or so.

Colossal pain in the ass.

Worked okay, but not very user friendly.

Bye, bye...ubuntu.

What the bloody hell does this have to do with Windows Vista, and why
are you bragging that you are too dumb to run Linux?

You'll be back. They always come back after they've had a taste of a real
operating system and when your Windoze starts crumbling around you. See you
in six months or a year in the Ubuntu forums when you once again take the
plunge, but with more serious intent next time. :-)

Love and Kisses,
Doris

Erm, Ubuntu 7.04 works just fine on my box. Why is it that you feel you
need to use insulting terms such as "Linsux"?

Like you enjoyed blowing "Rock" Doris
I am not lying
I absolutely detest Linsux losers, fanboys(fangirls in your case) and trolls
like you.
I could care less about their statistically insignificant desktop operating
system distros.
Which they can not even give away for free.

So it's completely OK for Vista losers, fanboys, and trolls to insult Linux
losers, fanboys, and trolls, but not the other way around ?

Considering that this thread is totally off-topic, I think it is
perfectly acceptable to to insult anyone who is promoting a non-Vista
OS. Whether Ubuntu is good, bad or ugly is totally irrelevant here.

I doubt I'll try ubuntu again. I don't like "kit" operating systems that
much, and LINUX is a kit OS. I've been using Windoze for many years
through all its iterations, and I haven't had any serious problems with
it since the release of XP. I've got all sorts of hardware and software
running under VISTA, and running quite properly.
