Can changing the default white background window color in Windows Vistav Explorer be done?, liked the light grey in older versions of windows , myself

I don't see any light gray, but it may be due to my color scheme.

Rt. Click desktop/or via Control Panel>Personalization>Window Color and
Appearance>Open Classic Appearance Properties (in RTM--I can't remember if
there is a different route in pre-RTM builds--so many builds so little
time)>Advanced Button>Application or Window Background>with Explorer it is
Window Background>Color Pull Down>Other for Wider Selection.
