Please do not post the the entire message in the subject line. Many
newsreaders will truncate the long subject line and your message will not be
seen.

RE: How do I check what is running in the background with Vista Ultima

If you mean what services are running in the background, open the start menu,
then right-click my computer. Select manage. Expand services and
applications, then click services. Anything that says started is running in
the background. To configure what stuff you want running in the background,
right click any of the services and selct properties. To configure which of
these you want started at startup, press <Windows Key> <r> and type
"msconfig". Then go to startup items and services.
