How to associate af file type to acommand

Hi,

I need to associate a file type to a command, not to a program and add more
shel commands like Edit and Print. This was done in Windows Xp under "Folder
Options" => "File Types".

How does it work in Windows Vista?

Kind Regards,
Ruud Uphoff
