Access to this site in Firefox

FYI there's no indication on this site that if you try to access it from
Firefox that half of the functions won't work.

For instance, I spent ages hunting around this site trying to work out how
to post a message only to find that the only way to do so is to open the site
in IE.

Dissapointing, though not too surprising.

That'll teach me. I was thinking that this was an MS discussion board and
not realizing that this was a usenet gateway. I should have said here that
the problems come if you access this newsgroup via the
windowshelp.microsoft.com communities portal.

I have the same problem in XP. I cant post a new message, but I can reply to
one.

This isn't a "site" or a forum. It's a web interface to Usenet
newsgroups and it has never worked well. Do yourself a favor and access
the newsgroups with a real newsreader instead. It is very easy to set
up. I don't have instructions for Windows Mail but the OE ones should be
close. Here is my standard information:

About Usenet:
