Vista - explorer.exe user interaction bug

I want to signal a minor but annoying bug.

To reproduce it you must have off the option "Hide extensions of registerd
file types" (I use italian version and I don't know the exact phrase in
english version of Windows Vista).

1) Open explorer.exe
2) in any folder select view mode: show details
3) choose a file and modify the extension name (example. .txt =--> .txr)
without pressing enter key when finish, but left clicking with mouse in a
free space near the file / document.
4) When appears confirmation Dialog box for the rename operation, choose yes

The unexpected behaviour happens: the mouse cursor is hooked to previous
clicked point and you must do an useless click or ESC keypress for to go away
the selection box.

Please forward to developer team if not pertinent for you
