| Can I do without page file if I have 4 GB of RAM? Running 32bit home ultimate with 2 GB. With RAM price dropping, will it make sense get another 2 GB and eliminate the page file? (I know Vista 32-bit will only "see" 3+ GB but 3+ is still a lot more RAM than 2 GB.) |

| Re: Can I do without page file if I have 4 GB of RAM? You should keep the pagefile.. Windows expects to see one.. just increase memory to 3gb total and you will save yourself some cash..
