| Re: Text to Speech pronunciation correction Yeah, guess I could. Point is, way back when (Win95 days) Creative's text to speech program had the ability to correct pronunciation. You'd think Vista would at least have some ability like that1 -- Mike Matheny "Joey DoWop Dee" <jwd511@verizon.net> wrote in message news:0001HW.C249537F00D459CFF0182648@news.verizon.net... > On Mon, 16 Apr 2007 15:42:30 -0400, Mike Matheny wrote: > >> This isn't speech recognition - it's the text to speech pronunciation ( I >> have a talking caller ID program, and when my wife calls I hate the way >> it >> mispronunciates her name!) >> >> > > I'm a fish out of water here, but can you record a short clip in your own > voice with the correct pronunciation and assign it to her entry in the > caller > ID program? > > -- > Joey DoWop Dee > Remember: It is To Laugh > |
