I have no more my shut down button on my Start menu and if i try to shut down the system i get this message: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" Notice i'm administrator of my PC. I also tried to restore a system backup point but nothing, i stil have not the power button, and if i set Classic View of the start menu i have not the voice "Shut Down..." Is there a way to restore this or i have to FORMAT!?!? Davide |

A shutdown under a "Start" menu. :-) > "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in in effect on > this computer. Please contact your system administrator" > Once Vista has taken over your computer it does not want to ever have to stop running. How else can it serve its role in this world - sending out spam across the Internet? > Notice i'm administrator of my PC. > Microsoft just makes you think you can administer your own PC. Actually it is now controlled by Microsoft. Which, btw, has been reported by another poster to suck up a steady 1GB of hard drive space per day. Further proof that Microsoft controls your system, not you. I've been using Vista for a month and they were there, but now they have disappeared! It's quite weird. I suspect it might be a virus. |
