Resolution not changing for Visualizations

I just upgraded to WMP 11 and noticed that all my visualizations seemed to be
running at a very low resolution (possibly the default). I checked the
settings but they were all set to my monitor size (1920x1200). Tried
changing them to a lower res then back to high but no change.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? It worked fine in WMP10

The Battery visualisation called "Event Horizon" looks particularly
bad even at 1440x900, however chaning resolution and offscreen buffer
sizes has no effect. Perhaps you could get us on the same page and say
which visualisation you're looking at ?

Cheers - Neil

Re: Resolution not changing for Visualizations

Hi Neil,

Well to be honest, its ALL of the battery visualisations. I've just
switched to the Event Horizon one and it looks as if its running at 640x480
!! Really low-res, but its the same for all the battern visuals. In WM10 I
had them all cranked up to 1920x1200 and they looked smooth as silk. When I
used to change the resolution, WM10 would pause the show, clear the screen
and then restart at the new resolution. Doing the same thing with WM11 has
no effectl it just carries on in its low-res mode.

Is there a way to completly uin-install and re-install? Or is there
something else I can try before I go that far to try and fix it?

Cheers.
