| Re: Drag & Drop I don't ever remember seeing the popup you're referring to. Can you be more specific? | Re: Drag & Drop In the library under artist view it is possible to drag for example a misspelled artist to the artist that is the right one (same goes for albums). When dragging one to another you get a popup if you are sure to do this. In the left corner there is a checkbox to never show this popup again, but unfortunately the drag & drop function from that moment on is disabled. -- Certified One "Dale" wrote: > I don't ever remember seeing the popup you're referring to. | Re: Drag & Drop Well, now I did it. I couldn't find anything in the registry to reset that setting but I thought I saw where it may get stored so I decided to check the box to never show again for myself. Well, luckily, I found the answer for both of us right where I thought it was going to be. In Registry Editor, browse to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\C onfirmation In the window to the right, you'll see value named metadatamlArtistV11. Right click that value and choose delete. Apparently that setting is just for dropping artists, judging by the name. I suppose that means that if you drag and drop an album, you would still get the prompt even if you'd told WMP not to prompt on the artist list. That said, let us know if it solves your problem. I tried checking the box and clicking No to the update and it didn't save the update or that I had checked the box - as expected. When I checked the box and clicked Yes, it saved the change and it saved the setting to not show the prompt again - as expected. And I was able to still successfully drag and drop artists onto each other afterwards.
