| Re: Where have Total Tracks and Total Running Time gone in WMP 11 This works when tracks are selected from the library, however when selecting selecting tracks from a playlist it says the number of items in the player chrome, but not the total time. Is there anyway to see the total length of a PLAYLIST, without searching through the library and selecting every track on a given playlist (which often is random)? | Re: Where have Total Tracks and Total Running Time gone in WMP 11 To get a tally of the number of songs and their time from within the library, select them. That tally will show up in the chrome briefly. Or hover the mouse over the "Now Doing" region, which is the region above the playlist. If you're building a playlist in the rightmost library pane, you may need to push Stop in order to get the time to show up. -- Speaking for myself only. | Re: Where have Total Tracks and Total Running Time gone in WMP 11 If you consider it another name for a "skin" does that help ? The chrome is all the bits of the player that are just screen furniture and (mostly) have no function other than looking nice and making it look like a media player rather than a windows application. What Zach means is the black portion of the player to the right of the play/pause/fwd buttons, shows a small piece of text occasionally. So look to the right of the buttons when you select all the items, and for a second or two the total time will be shown there.
