I keep getting this red circle with an "X" in the middle. the pop reads
"Warning! Fatal error media system is corrupted all audio files will not
play. needs to be updated". I read the other post and one other is
similar and i tired to take the same steps but it did not work for me..
can anyone help? thanks

Which other post are you referring to ?
Which operating system are you using ?

What steps did you try that you're thinking will solve whatever's
wrong ? Which program are you seeing a circle with an X in it ?

Perhaps if you are experiencing some sort of system corruption, the
first step might be to head to windows update and make sure your PC is
up to date.
