No problem for years, but now all I see is the default skin and cannot get
back into Full Mode (option in View menu is grayed out, ctrl+1 does nothing).
I was on version 10 and backed out to 9 hoping it would clear - no luck. Any
ideas?

You could reset all of WMP's settings by editing the registry, that
would probably fix this. Close WMP if it's running. In the Start Menu,
select Run and type

regedit.exe

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\P references
and rename this Preferences key to something like Preferences_old. Now
restart WMP, run the setup wizard, and WMP should be back in Full Mode
again.
