sound recorder

I have windows xp w/all updates

how do i get sound recorder to record for longer than 60 seconds
which appears to be the default.

"Go Blue"...The xp sound recorder is only "fair" to begin with.For youre
sound or video recordings,download & install the windows media encoder 9
series from microsoft.In the recorder,select capture audio/video,it'll set-up
auto.Get its add-ons also.Get it at:

You won't be able to - sound recorder is very limited indeed.

I'd suggest spending an hour or so with Audacity
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ which is free

It'll let you record, edit, fade-in/out, equalise and do lots of other
tricks with audio, for no actual cost ;-)

has unlimited hours of recording with several other features. Download it
