Hi , I am having a problem with DPM2007 SP1. I have deployed an agent to a
Windows Server 2008 x64 SP2 Server with Hyper-V role and when I try and
create a protection group for a hyper-v host I receive the following
error.The operation failed because of a protection agent failure.Retry the
operation ID:998 Details: Incorrect function (0x80070001).

I have applied all Hotfixes service packs to hyper-v host and started the
vss writer. When i try to browse the hyper-v host to select the child vms for
protection thats when the error pops up. Any ideas how I can resolve this
guys.
