MP3s or WMAs will play fine if I've just booted up. However, once I
stop a song, pause ir or try to play another song, I get no sound.
The only solution so far is to log out and then log back in. Once the
sound from WMP goes, all of the system sounds dissappear as well.

Anybody have this same problem or any suggestions?

Your sound card driver is locking up-
