WMP 11 using 50% of my processor after it's closed

Anyone seen this? I looked in Task Manager to find that wmplayer.exe is
running, even though I'm not listening to music or watching a video. Why does
this launch by itself? The memory keeps incrementing on the process as well.

Thanks in advance.

Seen that a couple of times when I closed WMP but it apparently kept running
in the background. Just kill it in Task Manager.
