Removing Windows Media Player 11

I have done the three step process for "rolling back" to Windows Media Player
10. When I go to launch Windows Media Player I get the setup installation
for Windows Media Player 11 instead of 10 and then the good old "Send Error
Report" dialog box. It is clear to me that the three step "roll back"
sometimes works and in my case it does not. When I try to run the setup for
Windows Media Player 10 it tells me a newer version of the player is running
on my system. How do I get rid of Media Player 11 once and for all.

Re: Removing Windows Media Player 11

You cannot install WMP10 on top of WMP11 - don't try. Once you roll back
from WMP11, WMP10 will just be there.

What's the crash bucket number?

Did you run CCleaner (aka Crap Cleaner) on this system at some point.... ?

Speaking for myself only.
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
