Hello,
I am running WMP 11 on Win XP Home box. Yesterday I downloaded the
Windows Media Player 9 Series Winter Fun Pack 2003 (to get the Media Info
Explorer) which I applied and functioned properly. However, when I started
WMP 11 I get an error about a corrupt plug-in and WMP 11 now becomes non
responsive whenever I try to use it. I did the uninstall drill using
add/remove programs in the control panel for both the plug-in and WMP 11 and
then updated to 11 again, but same result. I can start the player but as
soon as I try to navigate within it it freezes and I get the not responding
message. Any thoughts?

Try System Restore to get back to a restore point before the installation.
