wmp11 double click to play issue

I have an issue where whenever I double click on a song, it queues every song
in the library to the playlist rather than playing the selected item. There
doesn't seem to be an option to change this like there was in wmp10. How can
I change this so that it only queues the one song I double click?

RE: wmp11 double click to play issue

I have the same problem. I can't find a solution anywhere. Love media
player 11 but I'm ready to go back to 10 or find another media player becuase
of this issue.

What were the developers thinking. When would anyone ever want to add the
entire library to their playlist? That's just dumb.

Did you tweak this seteting at some point in TweakMP? That let it be
tunable, if I recall correctly...

Re: wmp11 double click to play issue

A setting TweakMP does work. The only weird thing is that the setting
doesn't seem to correlate with what it's supposed to do--apparently,
some of the registry settings have changed meaning in wmp11. Go to
TweakMP, and set the second radio button in the second group of radio
buttons. Currently, I have it set at "double-click item to queue;
press SHIFT and double-click item to play" and "Add item and its
playlist or category to the Now Playing playlist." The second setting
seems to make all of the difference. I'm guessing this only happens to
people who have messed around with tweakmp in the past.

btw, the first setting doesn't actually work--google the solution,
you're going to have to add a registry entry in the wmp preferences
for "librarydoubleclickqueuev11".
