How to prevent "Device Setup" wizard from launching?

Is there a way to prevent the Device Setup wizard from starting when I
plug in my MP3 player and WMP 11 is running?

I have my own work-flow for transferring files to my audio player and
do not want to use the "sync" feature of WMP. I just want it to open
the MP3 player in a folder window, like it does when WMP is *not*
running.

RE: How to prevent "Device Setup" wizard from launching?

I'm getting the same problem and have yet to solve it - there are a few
similar threads on the forum and nobody seems to have a solution yet!
