Help uninstalling 11

How can I easily get back to 10? I am not happy whatsoever with 11. It
freezes and also does not have the features I liked best about 10. What a
huge disappointment.

Do I remove 11 using the uninstall programs? Will that get me back to 10
without doing anything else?

Thanks alot for your help.

RE: Help uninstalling 11

To remove wmp 11 go to control panel, add/remove programs and find windows
media player 11 on the list. Once you uninstall the program, it should roll
back to the original/previous version.

"I am not happy whatsoever with 11."

Man that's an understatement, they FORCE you to organize your music the way
they think makes the most sense. I can't get rid of album information or art
for that matter and I've never found that information important. Once again
Micro$oft ruins a decent product. Back to 10 for me. They should apply the
KISS method to everything they do, and in this case they seem to have gone in
the MISS direction.

For Micro$oft employees who may read this... KISS is Keep it simple stupid!
MISS in this case is Make it stupid, stupid.

Thanks janverjan,
I've also gone back to version 10. I know they beta test these things,
don't they listen to people's comments?

No, the Windows Media Player product team does not listen to people's
comments:
