Help!!! Cd drive problem

I just installed Windows Media Player 11 for the second time, and am having
the same problem. When I want to burn a CD, the drive pops up a separate
window that there is a blank CDin drive F, but the blank CD does not register
above the playlist on the Windows Media Burn page. Can someone please tell me
how to correct this?

Re: Help!!! Cd drive problem

Do ypu have a packet writing software installed (e.g. Roxio drag to disc,
Nero inCD or Sonic DLA)? If so it has hijacked the drive. You may have an
option, right click on your CD drive, disable the corresponding software for
that drive.

Re: Help!!! Cd drive problem

Thank you ! It took some searching, but the Roxio drag to disc was the
problem. After disabling DTD, the drive works. Thanks again!
