How can I do it? In the left hand part of media player, make sure you're in Music -> Library -> Songs, and that you can see the Playlists. Right-click the "Playlists" icon, choose "Create new auto playlist" Click in the box Auto Playlist Name, and give it a memorable name. Now, under Music in my library -> Criteria, click the dropdown menu. ChoosePlay Count : Total Overall Click the next dropdown, select "Is" Click in the "Click to set" and type 0 (the digit Zero) then Click OK. Wait for WMP to scan the library and find these (unplayed) items Now click the newly created Auto Playlist shown in the left hand column (you may have chosen to rename that) to list the tracks. Scroll to the very end of the list, click one track and press CTRL + A to select all of these tracks - briefly in the bottom right of the player (next to the volume slider), the total number of tracks is shown for a couple of seconds. If you click and CTRL + A at the top, it will only show (up to) a total of 5000 - if you scroll to the end and CTRL + A it will show the accurate total of items (no, I don't know why either - it's a bug !) | Re: A library of songs that weren't played No worries PS you might have seen *other* things to filter by in the Criteria list. By all means experiment with these other 20 or so Filters and Sort options, as there are a lot of ways to dice and slice your library. Don't forget, you can also add more than one set of criteria filters Cheers - Neil On Mon, 5 Jan 2009 21:36:01 -0800, Dror <Dror@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Awesome!! > >Thanks and Happy New Year. > >Dror > >"Neil Smith [MVP Digital Media]" wrote: > >> On Sun, 4 Jan 2009 04:58:00 -0800, Dror >> <Dror@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >> >> >Hello. >> > >> >I would like to add to my Windows Media Player libraries, a library that >> >will contain all the songs that I didn't hear.
