WHenever I try and watch something using WMP it pauses every few seconds?

How do I fix this? Id be most grateful as its basically no use?

What something is this - video ? Is it online or on a DVD or from your
local hard disk ? If it's local, what's the file name end in (examples
might be avi, wmv, mp4, mp3, wma, wav and so on)

OK so that depends on how fast your internet is - it's called
"buffering" which is when the player decides it can't get bits down
the wire fast enough to display them on screen.

In WMP if you go to the dropdown menu below Now Playing, click
Performance, and instead of having "autodetect" network speed - try
setting it to a notch below your known internet download speed - does
that help ?

For example if you have 1mbps broadband, try to set it to 768kbps and
see if that helps.
