OK so that depends on how fast your internet is - it's called "buffering" which is when the player decides it can't get bits down the wire fast enough to display them on screen. In WMP if you go to the dropdown menu below Now Playing, click Performance, and instead of having "autodetect" network speed - try setting it to a notch below your known internet download speed - does that help ? For example if you have 1mbps broadband, try to set it to 768kbps and see if that helps.
